Even though my flight was 14 hours, I arrived in the afternoon for the next day. Exhausted, I felt like I went forward in time.
We were picked up by a nice driver and mad our way to downtown Tokyo as the sun was setting.
After we checked in, we went for a walk around the city and to Shibuya Crossing, the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing, with as many as 3,000 people crossing at a time.
Since it was dinner time, we stopped by a ramen place for our first meal. It’s so interesting to pay for your meal through a vending machine, which spits out a ticket. You then give your ticket to the chef who prepares your meal.

Off to bed now…hopefully.
