The Joy and Gift of Hope

It’s easy to slip into worry, negativity, depression, and simply giving up these days given the state of our country and lives.

I am going to pass out these cards to those who could use some inspiration and support.

Thank you #JoyMaker Amy Wolff for creating these @dontgiveupsigns and inspiring hope to so many.

So grateful to support her mission and spread joy in what ways I can. I invite other #JoyMakers to share the hope as well.

The Joy of Making an Impact…Years Later

We may not know the impact we make until years down the road, but know that when you bring your best self in service to others, at that moment, you have made a difference for yourself and them.

This is a beautiful story of such impact seen many years later.

At the end of the school year in 1997, Mrs. Toensing, wrote a note on the student’s report card: “It has been a joy to have you in class. Keep up the good work! Invite me to your Harvard graduation!.”

This week, the student, Christin Gilmer graduated from Harvard as a doctor of public health.

She surprised her 6th-grade teacher and invited her to her graduation.

What impact are you making today that you may not necessarily see until some time in the future?
